Client-Server splits work: server provides services/data centrally, clients request and display. Example: psc.gov.np server holds notices; thousands of browsers (clients) fetch them via HTTP.

How it works: Client → request (login, search) → server processes + queries DB → response. Types: file, web, mail, database servers; thin (browser) vs thick (installed app) clients.

Benefits: Central control, backup and security; easy updates (fix server once); shared resources. Used for e-governance portals, bank core systems and CAAN slot booking instead of isolated PCs.
