Write a brief note on Data Warehouse and Data Mining.

Data Warehouse is a central, historical, read-only store merging data from many sources for analysis (not daily transactions). Example: all CAAN flight, passenger and revenue records 2070–2080 in one warehouse. Features: subject-oriented, time-variant, non-volatile.

Data Mining is discovering hidden patterns from that store using statistics/ML. Example: mine warehouse to find "Friday evening Pokhara flights 95% full → add extra flight". Techniques: classification, clustering, association ("passengers booking X also book Y").

Warehouse = organized library, Mining = finding insights from it.
