Model answer
Footnotes/Endnotes cite sources without breaking flow — e.g. NOC report citing depot circular.
- Footnote (bottom of same page): References → Insert Footnote (Alt+Ctrl+F). Type source; Word numbers automatically and renumbers on edits.
- Endnote (end of document/section): References → Insert Endnote (Alt+Ctrl+D). Used for thesis references.
- Format: right-click note → Note Options → numbering (1,2 / i,ii), start/restart per section. Convert: right-click → Convert to Footnote/Endnote.
Workbook/Worksheet/Workspace: Workbook (.xlsx) = whole file (Stock2080.xlsx); Worksheet = one page inside (Sheet1 petrol, Sheet2 diesel); Workspace/arranged view = tiled layout of open workbooks to compare 2078 vs 2079 side by side. Link: =Diesel!B2-Petrol!B2.
