Ai to prepare for exam

What are the possible ways we can use ai to prepare for exam ?

Student using AI to plan computer operator exam study, practice, theory, and revision.

  1. AI Tools

  3. 1. Chatgpt Image
  4. What does a diagram created from AI Does do ?
  5. Visual comparisons

Now this is a good question to ask. There are many answers to this question from multiple different people because their perspective are different from one another .

why are the the perspective of people different ?

The reason is not everyone uses the AI in same way. it depends on what are your personal Needs , those needs come from the Problems that you have . Now lets say you are studying for computer operator exam , there are many problems that you might face. For example :

  • You dont know how to retain the information for long time .
  • You dont know how to combine the theoritical and practical aspects of study together .
  • You dont know what questions might come in the exam , even though you have the syllabus in Hand .
  • You are not able to maintain a daily study habit .
  • You are not able to follow syllabus .

This are some of the Higher Level Problems that you might face . I said Higher level because there might be many other problems such as finding syllabus , finding past question paper , finding mcq , etc . All of this have a deterministic Solution .

AI Tools#

Let me Talk about some of the Popular AI tools which students use on a daily Basis .

  • Chatgpt Image
  • Claude
  • Google Notebook , etc .

How Are this tools being Used#

1. Chatgpt Image#

People are creating Image Randomly by giving the notes and asking chatgpt to convert it to image . What they get is a well decorated image with lots of colors , emojis , symbols and diagrams .

What does a diagram created from AI Does do ?#

lets say you are shown something and asked to read and remember it for the exam . Now if you are not motivated enough then you may not be able to bring your focus together to read it . We are talking an example of a unfocused person . Biologically our mind is more inclined towards novelty and what is more novel then a visual ai created for you . It doesnot require any complex instruction or prompt . but there is one danger to novelty . Novelty can help initially: when a page has been mostly paragraphs and suddenly there is an attractive diagram, attention returns. But novelty wears off. If every paragraph has a colorful AI image, eventually none of them feels novel.

I would describe a useful educational visual as doing roughly this :

What the visual doesExample
Compresses information8 sentences → one hierarchy
Makes relationships visibleCPU → Cache → RAM → Storage
Directs attentionHighlight exactly what changes
Externalizes a mental modelPaging: Page → Page table → Frame
Makes comparison simultaneousRAM vs ROM side by side
Shows a process over timeFetch → Decode → Execute
Creates memory cuesStudent remembers the pyramid
Adds variation/noveltyBreaks a long wall of text

Before the advent of AI and generative ai for image generation we would have to lean to learning sites like geeksforgeeks.com , https://www.w3schools.com/ (opens in a new tab) , http://wscubetech.com/ (opens in a new tab) where we did not have much visuals .

what do you think of this ? I thought of comparing some of the best visuals that popular online computer education site has on their website ?

On the left are the visuals of those popular sites and on the right , are the visuals generated by us using AI .

Visual comparisons#

These pairs show how different visual treatments can explain the same computer-operator concepts. Open them side by side and compare which version makes the idea easier to remember.
